"Isolation’s Philosophy"

08 / 03 / 2026

1

I once read ,

‘Nothing in the world is single’

I will concede ,

‘The mountains mingle with the river’

However , Text ,

The peaks are isolated from

The depths of the trenches.

In your discourse

who are to claim that ,

‘In one spirit meet and mingle,
Why not I with thine?’

2

I once read ,

‘I said it would be dark, & he said he hated daylight.’
‘I said it would be lonely, & he said he prostituted his mind talking to people.’
‘I said he was mad & he said God preserve him from sanity. (God certainly will.)’

I concede , I too hate the light ,

I concede , he was mad ,

But … I envy that difference

3

I once read ,

‘in language there are only differences’

I concede , to this difference ,

It is in my nature .

So , I beg ,

Leave me !

Leave me ,

To my Østerrike!
